Our Heavy Duty Shield Anchors are engineered to provide powerful and reliable fastening solutions for high-load and structural applications. These anchors feature a robust, expanding shield design that tightly grips the base material when the bolt is tightened, delivering excellent holding power and load-bearing capacity. Ideal for fixing heavy-duty items to concrete, brick, and stone surfaces, the Heavy Duty Shield Anchor is a versatile and secure choice for industrial and construction projects.
Heavy Duty Shield Anchors are made with a strong expansion shield that is activated when the bolt is tightened, causing the anchor to expand and grip the sides of the drilled hole securely. This design ensures stable fastening, even in high-load scenarios, by evenly distributing the load to prevent cracks or damage to the base material.
Applications
- Fixing barriers, roller shutter and fire doors and switchgear
- Securing structural fixtures.
- For use in concrete and most types of masonry.
- Ideal for overhead and ceiling work or heavy items.
- Securing cable trays, ducting and trunking.
- Installing partitions and structural fixtures.
Process
- Drill a hole into the base material that matches the diameter of the anchor.
- Insert the Heavy Duty Shield Anchor into the hole.
- Place the fixture over the anchor and insert the bolt through the fixture into the anchor.
- Tighten the bolt to expand the shield and secure the anchor in place.
- Verify the anchor is firmly in place to ensure optimal load support.
